Shawm, in brief.
Shawm is a digital audio workstation for macOS, made by Artatura.
Every edit in Shawm is a step in a branching history: undo never discards anything, and the History map shows every path a song has taken. Plug-ins (Audio Units, VST3 and CLAP) each run in a process of their own, so one that crashes fades out and reloads while the song plays on. Playback is click-free through loops, seeks, edits and device changes. A live API lets scripts, control surfaces and AI agents read and change the open project, with every change in the same undo history.
It comes with three synthesizers (Nyris, Sable and Prism), a sampler and Shawm Drums, and ten effects: Shawm EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Reverb, Delay, Cloud, Tape, Resonator, Vocoder and Tune. The name comes from the shawm, the loud double-reed ancestor of the oboe; the mark is an S whose tail opens into a shawm’s bell.

Write the name as “Shawm” in running text; the logo’s capitals are part of the logo. Keep the bell’s mouth ultramarine, or cut through in the one-colour symbols. Please don’t recolour, stretch or add effects to the marks.
